News & Updates

I am on annual leave for the entirety of August. During this time, I may take longer than usual to reply to enquiries.

I have been interviewed by Bristol Post about the importance of LGBTQIA+ informed/affirmative therapy: 'Bristol psychotherapist's mission to support queer community'

Hi, I'm Ky

I'm a psychotherapist in training, offering affordable in-person therapy to adults in Bristol and Bath. My background is in Humanistic and Integrative psychotherapy, which means I view everyone as unique, and draw upon different approaches to suit you.

Therapy With Me

My aim is to hold a space in which you feel safe enough to explore the difficulties and dilemmas you have lived through, as well as those you experience now as they arise in your current life. This can enable an unfolding awareness of your relationship with yourself, others, and the environment in which you live.

Therapy with me is inclusive and non-judgemental. You'll never be forced somewhere you don't want to go. Building trust plays a large part in my approach to therapy. This doesn't mean there won't be challenges to the way you see the world and your place in it, but it is a journey to be undertaken together, at your own pace.

My Experience and Credentials

I am a UKCP registered psychotherapist entering my 5th year of training with Bath Centre for Psychotherapy and Counselling and Middlesex University.  Particular areas of interest/experience include living with chronic illness, the difficulties faced by neurodivergent people, and LGBTQ+ life.

Locations & Fees

I work out of The Practice Rooms in central Bristol and Bath. I charge £30 per 50-minute session (first session £20). Contact me to arrange an initial session to see if therapy with me is the right fit for you.

Psychotherapy often deals with issues surrounding:

  • Relationships

  • Self-esteem

  • Anxiety

  • Depression

  • Grief

  • Identity

  • Stress

  • Life changes

  • Past trauma

You may seek out psychotherapy if you feel aspects of your life are 'stuck', or if you feel overwhelmed by emotions, thoughts, or other difficulties in your life that seem impossible to move through.

In therapy you may choose to look at the past and how it has influenced the ways in which you live your life. Through a greater awareness of your lived experience and inner responses, you may find a path to the change that you are looking for.
